Key Features: The 1984 adidas ZX 500 kickstarted the iconic ZX range, and it has now been reimagined by US retailer Commonwealth. The shoe’s original EVA sole unit has been swapped out for a Boost version, while the upper takes on an aquatic theme, informed by coastal living in Virginia Beach, Los Angeles, and the Philippines — Commonwealth’s three home bases — and constructed from synthetic suede with translucent monofilament mesh underlays.
