Video: Open The Box Documentary Trailer

open the box from stv on Vimeo . spotted at Nice Kicks.com “Open The Box” follows and documents just what the subtitle indicates: sneaker culture in Germany. The above video is a trailer and the full documentary is expected to release sometime next year. We’ve see documentaries on sneakerheads before, but this promises to follow an entirely different culture, where runners are prized and Jordans are not the hands-down preference of collectors. Be sure to watch the video, and cross your fingers for an English-subtitled version. With this joint being based in Germany you already know heads are bringing out the vintage deadstock adidas! OH BOY! Let's get it let's go! Gotta get my collection back up to speed. Down to 20 pairs now. Gave quite a few away to the homeless shelter and some more are going to the Boys & Girls Club but I still got heat on deck to keep me dumb fresh!!! Snapping necks collecting checks!!!

Mista 3 Stripes got super excited as we received a delivery of 89 cases of hotness today!!! Star Wars pack came in and we were foaming at the mouth like a pack of pitbulls itching to get that big juicy t-bone that's only gone satisfy the one of them! Pics of the other goodies (SL 72, High Rise, World Cup Track Jackets, etc.) to come but we really are excited about the Star Wars collab! Music Monday: Wu-Tang Clan NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert

The Wu-Tang Clan gathered at the Tiny Desk to commemorate the 25 years since the release of the group's landmark album Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). With more than 60 albums between the various members, The Clan's combined discography left them spoiled for choice when it came to narrowing down the set list for their performance. The result was an extended, 20-minute medley of songs from across the group's iconic catalog. The retrospective mashup of Wu classics started with the posse cut "Triumph." Backed by strings (The Green Project), the performance morphed into an old-school cipher as Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and Cappadonna traded verses with Masta Killa and U-God. Young Dirty Bastard, son of original member Ol' Dirty Bastard, provided a spark of energy reminiscent of his father.
