adidas Originals unveiled Kylie Jenner
as its newest ambassador yesterday and today it showcases its first
campaign. Using ‘90s nostalgia as a hook, the brand claims that 1997 was
a seminal year due to the creation of the adidas Originals Falcon Dorf Runner as well as being the year that Kylie Jenner was born.
The two have joined forced for this campaign, with the Falcon reinvented
in a grey, pink, black and blue colorway. Alegra O’Hare, Vice President
of global brand communications, said “Falcon is inspired by the Falcon
Dorf, an iconic model from the ‘90s: its bold and unapologetic DNA is at
the core of today’s Falcon and reflects the confident mindset of a new
generation of female creative consumers.”
