Pharrell’s last two crops of collaborative adidas NMD Hu releases payed
homage to different parts of the world in different ways. First, back in
March, Skateboard P and the Three Stripes traveled to India, creating
an entire collection that payed its respects to the Holi Festival of
Colors with a creative capsule in which each iteration featured a unique
powder-paint graphic.
Nearly five months later, N*E*R*D’s frontman
designed a “Solar” set equipped with tribal detailing and messages of
peace and harmony that he continuously aims to spread with his adidas
releases.
Tomorrow, September 1st, avid fans of the entire Hu collection
will have their chance at adding all six of these beloved releases to
