The invite I received was for the adiCOLOR release at THE ANNEX sponsored by adidas with THE YOUNG LIONS as the undercard... but in a genius move I love how IAN EASTWOOD and THE YOUNG LIONS flipped the messaging to engage their audience with the above flyer... "You smart" (in my DJ Khaled voice)

Kicking off the new year THE ANNEX and THE YOUNG LIONS were the perfect partners to capture the energy of CHICAGO youth and the dance culture here. Think about it... We partied on a Thursday night like it was Friday from 7p-11p. You would've thought we went in until about 2am and it was love all over the building!


I was working so I couldn't the pics I wanted but from the video you can see what the bidness is! Do you know how hard it was for me to relax on the sidelines and not beast some of these cats out on the dancefloor? Yeah... That part...


I did not consume any libations last night as I was working but from the looks of the attendees the pours were GRAND-TASTIC!!!
