Later this week, the adidas Consortium Tour continues on, moving
westward from New York to San Francisco, with a celebration on deck for
the grand launch of our newest Nice Kicks store.
Holding down the 1400 block of San Francisco’s iconic Haight and Ashbury streets, the new Nice Kicks location features a two-level space highlighted by a striking cylindric elevator.
As part of the store launch, Nice Kicks has teamed up with adidas Consortium to release an exclusive NMD Runner PK, highlighting the modern utility and nomadic spirit of the recently debuted silhouette. The plush sock-like upper features Primeknit construction and sits atop a full-length Boost cushioning midsole, as distinct block support wedges provide the shoe with a memorable and disruptive look from afar.

To celebrate the irreverent heritage of the historic Haight District,
the shoe brings about a detailed graphic inspired by vintage concert
posters and local art. Utilizing a fully sublimated red and black vivid
tie-dye Primeknit upper, our sneaker takes on color while retaining its
identifiable initial block-read.
As adidas VP of Design Nic Galway explained to us recently, the NMD leans on some past heritage of the brand, while similarly pushing forward into a new era of more wearable footwear. “What I wanted to do was really create something modern, and something very new,” outlines Galway. “When you see the shoe from a distance, it’s somehow familiar and you recognize that iconic blocking.”
In addition to the shoe’s detailed PrimeKnit upper, you’ll also find custom logo badging along the tongue and our wordmark icon running down the bold heel tab.
The adidas x Nice Kicks NMD Runner PK launches this Saturday, February 6th, exclusively at our new Nice Kicks San Francisco location and on ShopNiceKicks.com.
Where:
Nice Kicks SF
1420 Haight Street
San Francisco, CA 94117
