As a part of our Spring/Summer collection we have collaborated on a few pieces with San Francisco artist Eric Bailey. Eric’s signature style is to fuse “the natural” with “the modern” using some very classical oil painting techniques. Here, he’s applied that sensibility to a set of fun, summery adidas Originals gear that will look perfect on you while you soak in the seasonal rays.

Whether it’s the coastal settings of Big Sur or streets of San Francisco and Los Angeles, artist Eric Bailey credits his influence to both the natural and modern worlds. This concept is displayed through his classical style oil paintings that fuse glamour with natural surroundings. Bailey’s work presents an unconventional take on the traditional approach of luxury and nature. This concept, which Bailey refers to as “Wood Rich” has been a running theme in his work recently, but he has only truly begun to scratch the surface. Over the past few years, Bailey has branched out from paining into design and illustration and he intends to take his concept of naturalism versus materialism even further. Whether using oils and brushes or computers graphics, he intends to continually intermingle the two-standout energies. He currently resides in San Francisco.
